King Charles ‘worried’ about Princess Anne’s absence from big royal event King Charles and Prince William are reportedly quite ‘worried’ about Princess Anne’s absence from the royal activities planned for the Emperor and Empress of Japan. For the unversed, the Monarch’s sister and the most active working member of the royal family suffered “minor head injuries and concussion” after being hit by a horse on Sunday evening.

She is presently recovering from her injuries at Southmead Hospital in Bristol and, as per the reports, Princess Anne is set to miss out state banquet for the Japanese Emperor and Empress at Buckingham Palace.  In conversation with GB News, royal commentator Charlotte Griffiths shared, “She’s going to be in [the hospital] for the whole week, which suggests that they are taking this very seriously, although they did say she’s expected to make a full recovery.”The royal expert claimed that the Monarch and the senior members of the royal family would not ‘rush her comeback’ and give quality time to the Princess Royal to recover from the horrific incident.Charlotte said, “I’m sure they won’t, but she is so fundamental. She did 30 per cent of this year’s royal engagements earlier this year. The Japan state visit today, it’s actually really important. There’s a lot of pressure on this event.””It’s going to be really worrying for them that she’s not there – obviously they’re worried about her health, but they just they needed her there,” believes the royal editor.
