She has set the record straight and has denied getting any work done. Ariana Grande is gearing up for the release of her upcoming movie, Wicked: Part 1. Amidst this, the actor has been constantly facing backlash from netizens who claim that the actor has allegedly gone under the knife. In a recent interview, she cleared the air and mentioned that she has always remained honest with her fans.In a conversation with Variety that was staged as a lie-detector test, Ariana Grande revealed if she had gone under the knife to get any cosmetic procedures done. The actor denied having opted for any cosmetic surgery. She was asked if she had gotten breast surgery. She said, “No, can you imagine?” The singer was also asked if she had gotten a face-lift. She replied in negative and said, “No, not yet. I’m open.”Grande spoke about how people should be allowed to opt for surgeries if that is what makes them “feel beautiful.” She added, “This is the best day of my life. Take that, you YouTube people… Whatever makes women, men, and non-gender conforming people feel beautiful should be allowed. Why do we care?”The singer has reacted to rumours about getting cosmetic procedures done earlier as well. Last year, she addressed rumours which mentioned that she had gotten lip fillers among other procedures.On the work front, Grande will be seen in Jon M Chu’s Wicked: Part 1. The movie adaptation of this Broadway musical also stars Michelle Yeoh, Jeff Goldblum, Jonathan Bailey, Ethan Slater, Marissa Bode, Bowen Yang, Bronwyn James, Keala Settle, and Peter Dinklage in important roles. Written by Winnie Holzman and Dana Fox, the first part will be released in theatres on November 22, 2024. The second part is slated to release on November 21, 2025.
