April 2024,Related to a worker hand injury (finger amputation) at the Sandia National Laboratories Weapons Evaluation Test Laboratory Pantex Plant.On April 12, 2024, the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Enterprise Assessment’s Office of Enforcement and the National Nuclear Security Administration entered into a negotiated settlement by Consent Order (WCO-2024-01) with National Technology and Engineering Solutions of Sandia, LLC, to resolve worker safety and health issues that were identified during an investigation pursuant to 10 C.F.R. § 851.40 Investigations and inspections associated with a worker hand injury (finger amputation) event at the Sandia National Laboratories Weapons Evaluation Test Laboratory located at DOE’s National Nuclear Security Administration Pantex Plant.
