Kelly Osbourne shoots down claims of using Ozempic for weight loss Kelly Osbourne has just slammed back at some speculation of her using Ozempic for drastic weight loss following the birth of her first son.  In a recent interview with Extra, the English media personality weighed in on rumours of her turning to the Type 2 diabetes medication, that is used off–label for weight loss.  “I know everybody thinks I took Ozempic. I did not take Ozempic”, the singer confirmed, “I don’t know where that came from. My mom took Ozempic”. The 39-year-old further explained her rapid weight loss and added, “I had gestational diabetes”, which urged Kelly to lose weight “Otherwise, [she] was at a higher risk of actually getting diabetes”. “I cut out sugar and carbohydrates and I rapidly lost weight”, she elaborated. Nonetheless, despite Kelly denying Ozempic rumours, she had previously praised the drug for its effects. Speaking to E! News in January, the More Than Life Itself crooner commented, “I think it’s amazing. There are a million ways to lose weight. Why not do it through something that isn’t as boring as working out?”.
