Taylor Swift fans can’t take criticism against songstress?Taylor Swift’s fan base just might take part in a feud against some recent reviews on the artist’s latest album, The Tortured Poets Department.According to PageSix, Paste magazine found themselves in hot waters as they had to remove the name of the author from a review that they published regarding Swift’s eleventh studio album. The reason of the anonymous review being “threats of violence” the author received, following a review of one of the 34-year-old artist’s previous albums.

“Editor’s Note: There is no byline on this review due to how, in 2019 when Paste reviewed ‘Lover,’ the writer was sent threats of violence from readers who disagreed with the work,” the outlet noted on their X account, formerly known as Twitter.“We care more about the safety of our staff than a name attached to an article,” Paste magazine concluded. With the article reading “Paste Staff” instead of the writer’s name, the magazine’s TTPD review, was, once again, a rather critical review about Swift and her songwriting capabilities.
