Massive flooding and landslides triggered by days of heavy rain in Brazil’s southernmost state have killed at least 85 people, according to local authorities.Over two-thirds of Rio Grande do Sul’s 497 municipalities have been affected, leaving more than 150,000 people displaced, local authorities said.More than 130 people are still missing.The mayor of Eldorado do Sul, one of the affected cities, told local media that the city was “100% destroyed”.Read more here.
