The beef is squashed.

Sandra Bernhard apologized for mistreating Morgan Fairchild when they worked together on Season 5 of “Roseanne” in the 1990s.

“It’s one of my biggest regrets that I wasn’t nicer to her,” Bernhard, 69, said to Andy Cohen on “Watch What Happens Live” last week, adding, “I was a little dismissive of Morgan.”

Bernhard played Roseanne (Roseanne Barr) and Jackie’s (Laurie Metcalfe) business partner, Nancy Bartlett, on the ABC sitcom. Fairchild, 74, joined the show in the fifth season as Nancy’s girlfriend, Marla.

On “WWHL,” Bernhard looked directly at the camera and apologized for how she treated Fairchild when they were co-stars.

“To this day, I would like to say to Morgan, you were incredible to work with,” said Bernhard. “We were the first gay couple on TV. Unlike everybody thinks everybody else was — we were. You were fabulous. You were on the right side politically. I owe you an apology. I adore you. And thank you for putting up with my snotty little attitude.”

Cohen, 56, asked Bernhard if she ever reached out to Fairchild, and Bernhard replied, “I didn’t really know how. I think this is time. And the best way to do it.”

“She will watch it,” the “Pose” star added. “She’ll hear it and she deserves it. She’s a great lady.”

Bernhard revealed that the pair were supposed to have an on-screen kiss in the show, but it was censored out.

“Everybody was kind of not nice to her,” she said about Fairchild. “I’m calling myself out honey — along with everyone else.”

Fairchild responded to Bernhard’s apology on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“Hi, Andy. Easier to reach me here at @morgfair,” she wrote in response to the Bravo show’s clip of Bernhard. “I’m very touched by @SandraBernhard’s words. Very nice of her.”

She continued: “Yes, it was a difficult set for me, but that’s show biz. I already follow her on X, but she doesn’t follow me. She can DM me any time & I’d say ‘Let’s grab coffee’. Love to you all.”

As Bernhard mentioned, the relationship between Nancy and Marla on “Roseanne” was one of the earliest instances of a LGBTQ couple on television. Fairchild was only on the show for three episodes, but her storyline was still impactful.

“Roseanne” aired on ABC from 1988 to 1996. The show was revived in 2018, but then was canceled after Barr, 71, compared former President Barack Obama’s adviser Valerie Jarrett to an ape.

Barr was fired and the show was retooled into a spinoff, “The Conners.”
