Toppin emerged as a top bench contributor for the Eastern Conference finalists.Toppin had a career season in his first year with the Pacers, averaging 10.3 points on 57.3% shooting from the field in 21.1 minutes per game.Toppin fit in seamlessly with Indiana’s high-powered offense, becoming an elite play-finisher; he accounted for 101 dunks last season and his 40.3% shooting from 3 is by far a career-best.The Pacers acquired Toppin from the New York Knicks last summer for a pair of second-round picks. New York drafted Toppin with the No. 8 overall pick in the 2020 NBA draft.
