The name cards on some of the counters read Odette, II Borro and Bukhara.According to several media reports, the lavish spread offered a blend of traditional Indian delicacies and exotic global cuisines. From creamy rabri, refreshing lassi, to extravagant treats like caviar served atop tiramisu, the menu was every food lover’s dream.Rameshwaram Café’s butter, ghee and garlic dosa as well as Anant’s favourite Pesarattu – a green gram dosa originating in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka’s famous Thatte Idli, a selection of puran poli varieties served with a Spicy Usal Vada were also on offer. The event also featured a wide selection of chaats, made by teams flown in from Varanasi to ensure authentic taste. Top chefs such as the team behind the world’s best restaurant – Central in Peru — and Goan food maestro like Chef Avinash Martins also prepared a selection of signature dishes.Anant and Radhika’s marriage on Friday culminated months of pre-wedding events.The attendees included Bollywood icons Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Ranbir Kapoor; cricketers Sachin Tendulkar, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya, and Suryakumar Yadav. Former British Prime Ministers Tony Blair and Boris Johnson; and Saudi Aramco CEO Amin H Nasser were also on the guest list.
