Last Updated: July 15, 2024, 13:12 ISTHonor has confirmed the foldable series is coming to other countries, will it include India?Honor claims this is the lightest and probably the most-affordable foldable device that you can get in the market.Honor has launched its new Magic foldable device that is claimed to be the lightest and the thinnest available model in the market. We have already seen brands like Samsung and Vivo refresh their foldable lineup and the likes of Xiaomi and OnePlus expected to enter the fray soon. Talking about the Honor Magic Vs 3, it is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen chipset but not the latest version, it features a lightweight design, and the battery supports fast charging. Honor Magic Vs 3 Foldable – What It OffersThe biggest highlight about this Magic foldable is that it weighs just 229 grams and comes with an unfolded thickness of 4.65mm which is really thin. The cover display is a 6.43-inch OLED LTPO panel with 2500 nits of peak brightness. The big screen is a 7.92-inch OLED LTPO panel as well with support for 120Hz refresh rate. Honor is using the older Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset which seems strange but possibly helps them with an aggressive price tag. It is available with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. For imaging, you have a triple-rear camera system with a 50MP main sensor, a 40MP ultrawide sensor and an 8MP periscope telephoto lens. Despite sporting a petite frame, you get a 5000mAh battery with support for 66W wired and 50W wireless charging speeds. Will Honor’s Magic Come to India?Honor Magic Vs 3 is priced in China at CNY 6,999 (Rs 80,000 approx) which is far cheaper than any latest-gen foldable in the market. Honor has talked about its big plans for India over the next few quarters and a foldable is likely to feature on its list so we’re hoping the Magic Vs 3 foldable comes to the country and competes with the more premium rivals by offering an accessible option.S AadeetyaS Aadeetya, Special Correspondent at News18 Tech, accidentally got into journalism 10 years ago, and since then, has been part of established media ho…Read More
