The company is building up a strong core of products that support the AI features that are free for now but 2025 could be a different story. We already know the company is going to put a fee on using the AI features in the next year or so, but the launch product launches have come with a cheeky footnote which gives us a clear timeline on when the Galaxy AI features, at least some of them, could become paid. Free Galaxy AI Features To End In 2025 As spotted through the press note of the Galaxy S24 FE and the Galaxy Tab S10 models, this report found this in the footnote, “Fees may apply to certain AI features at the end of 2025.” Samsung is aware that the Galaxy AI push needs to get aggressive if it wants to increase the reach of these features. However, the company also knows that asking people to pay for all the AI features might not be appealing, so keeping it limited to select features could be one way out of this situation. The teaser is clear enough that some of the AI features will come with a fee by the end of 2025 which is around 12 months from now, and most likely applicable on the Galaxy S26 series when it launches in early 2026. But we’ll probably have to wait a while before getting more details on the AI features that will charged by the company.Having said that, Samsung is unlikely to be the only tech company to put a price tag on its AI features. Google and Apple could also be part of the chorus as they look to monetise their investment in the technology and get the returns that are needed to keep the heavy computing systems running.S AadeetyaS Aadeetya, Special Correspondent at News18 Tech, accidentally got into journalism 10 years ago, and since then, has been part of established media ho…Read More
