Only a few weeks earlier, Bal had made his fashion circuit comeback after health problems, presenting up at Lakme Fashion Week, closing the magnanimous season with his comeback. Well-known for his creative methods, he brought India’s rich cultural legacy to life in a modern tapestry that attracted attention from all over the world. His creations were notable for their flawless fusion of modernity and heritage, permanently altering Indian fashion. He was a founding member of the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI). Rest in peace GUDDA  You are a legend.”Bal was admitted to Gurugram’s Medanta Hospital in November 2023 as he complained of heart ailments, followed by a totally unconscious nature. Having endured a severe heart attack in 2010, the designer subsequently battled escalating pancreatitis, a condition that has deteriorated over the years. Over the last few months, the 62-year-old has experienced a series of hospitalisations due to significant health complications.
