District 3 State Representative Ragen Hatcher has likely kept her seat in Tuesday’s primary.
With nearly all precincts reporting, Hatcher beat newcomer Heather McCarthy 56% to 44%, according to unofficial election results. Early on, McCarthy had the lead with 53% to 47%.
“It was a pleasure getting out and meeting the people of the district and I wish Representative Hatcher success going forward,” McCarthy said. “I hope to work with her on future legislation.”
